Return to Historical Documents So What is Internet Archive Anyway? It's the closest thing the internet has to a Library of Congress. It's where you can go to find: - Old, out of print books or out of copywrite books (like my favorite, Joseph Conrad) -Old, black and white movies (like Radar Men from the Moon, Leonard Nemoy's first role). -An extensive Audio Archive, including some public performances of New Riders of the Purple Sage and Grateful Dead -A really cool Software Archive, including a lot of free-ware -The Way-Back Machine, where old web pages are stored. Internet Archive is a joint effort of a group of university and private sector professionals to preserve, in digital form, anything that can be saved. And these good people have made their space available to anyone who wants to save literature, moving images, sound or internet pages.
So, in order to ensure that our old newsletters are safe, I've begun uploading the scanned images to Internet Archive.
I group them together by year in PDF format. The link on the prior page is Internet Archive's main page. Enter "Kiwanis" into the search bar and have fun.
