Jeff gave an overview of the final touches of the flood renovation, the completion of the new parking ramp on the 10th St. side, the new medical building which currently houses OB-GYN Specialists and the cooperative efforts among the medical entities in CR that help provide a higher level of service and care to the patients. Jeff has personally helped spearhead the shared imaging network, the primary care data sharing system and the health information exchanges. He recently presented at the Health IT Conference in Des Moines on data sharing. He indicated that Mercy and CR have been recognized nationally by the IHA for the quality, patient satisfaction and low cost of delivering services provided here. Very informative program. Thank you, Jeff. Word for the day: In the words of our very own word master, Don Grimm, he “dummied down” today and the result was Dr. Graeff correctly defined the word, “anthropomorphism”: ascription of a human attribute or personality to anything impersonal or irrational. Dr. Graeff didn’t use those exact words but he dummied down enough to weasel a buck out of Don. Submitted: Dan Breitbach - El Verboso Bloviatoro |
